The last couple of days.

Nate had his last spring soccer game.  We really enjoyed his coach this year.  He was great.
The 2012 Barksdale Air Show Director playing around inside a B-17.  All work and no play equals a very boring Chris.

I hope I'm right.  I think this is an F-4 Phantom.  If not.  I'm sure I'll be called out for not knowing my airplanes.

Did you know you can earn a welding merit badge for scouting?  I didn't either.  I'm surprised anyone would allow 12 and 13year old boys to do that.

Air Show Weekend

Grandpa Otis, Nate, and Grandma Otis

Grandma and Grandpa Otis at the J-Star
Jackson checking out the birds of prey.  He loves birds and was able to "pet" this one.
In the VIP area Nate found his front row seat.  He didn't move from here the entire time.

Spring Cabosa Soccer 2012

Towards the end of the sesason Nate started playing goalie again for half the game.  He use to play but hadn't played that position in about 3 years.  That's a very stressful position to play since it feels like you win or lose the game.

The coach was always very good at keeping the goalie in for one half.  That allowed Nate to play forward or midfield the other half.  He's a pretty aggressive player which has been known to get him in trouble from time to time.

Easter Sunday.

So obviously Nate is a little old for easter baskets etc...but with little Jackson here he had to do something.  Jackson's mom Amy hit a bunch of eggs all over the yard.  In fact, she hid them in places I wouldn't have stuck my hand into to retrieve.
 My handsome boy.
 Not his best smile.
Geez, Dad and Mom.  Cut it out.
Hammin' it up for the camera.
 These two never quit.
Amy, Jackson, and Kyle searching for eggs.

A beautiful day to play ball.

This was one of those rare spring days in Louisiana where the humidity was low, the breeze was cool, and the temps were high 70s.  It was gorgeous.  I could always go for more days like this.  It was indeed the perfect evening to play ball.
My brother Kyle.  He says all the pictures we have of him make him look mad but the truth is...that's how he photographs. I  tried to find ones where he was smiling.
My sister in law Amy and Nate.

My nephew Jackson.  He LOVES to play ball.
Chris nailed this photograph.  I'm going to have to print it out because it's the best photograph of anyone.
