USU vs LA Tech

Carl Malone.  LA Tech alumni.

Awesome seats.  Row 1.

Nate, Kaye, Brianna, Chris, and Ben.  We loved that USU beat LA Tech and had there best season since the 1960s.  This was an unbelievable game.  We had to deal with some nasty Tech fans but we surivived.

Pumpkin carving and chili feed

We had some friends over for food and fun.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  A cool front came through and it was in the 50s.  Yippy!!!  We got the fire pit out and just relaxed and enjoyed.

It's amazing Chris doesn't get smacked more with all the stupid faces he makes.
 Chris, Nate, and Amy Colina
The whole gang.  Poor Jason is the headless horseman I guess.
Nate spent A LOT of time on his pumpkin.  I wish he'd put that much time and effort into his school work.
The carnage.  Good thing we just rolled up the plastic table cloths and threw them away.
Check out all the cool pumpkins.

Revel 15K

Chris ran the Revel 15K.  He's on his way to the 1/2 Marathon in 2.5 weeks.

Yuck!

So on Saturday the Otis family was doing yard work.  I get the flower area and was trimming back some vines on a tresel that were getting a bit unruly.  I am looking up because Geckos LOVE to hang out here.  I'm not keen on having on fall on me.  So as I'm trimming away I happen to glance down and see this THING right at shin height.  I left the poor guy alone but if you come visit my house you might now want to take the stone pathway from the garage to the front door because well....he's waiting.

North DeSoto vs Cope Middle School

 #23.  Nathan Otis
To say we lost badly would be an understatement.  41-0.  Didn't even score a point but there was a high point to the game.  At least for Nate.  He was made a starter last night.  He is super stoked about this because he's been putting his heart and soul into football and hasn't seen much results up to now.  I was hoping this might be his last year but now who knows.

Sunday activities

 My nephew Jackson
The Baton Rouge temple shares a parking lot with my brother's building.  Too bad it was closed for 2 week cleaning.

Shaquille O'Neil statue.

LSU Football Game

My Dear friend Susan who gave us the Tickets to the Washington vs LSU football game.  As you can see we had GREAT seats.
Mike VI and the LSU cheerleaders.

The only time WA scored was within the first 3 minutes of the game.  Final score was 41-3.  Ouch.

 Shaq.
Check out that sea of purple and gold.  I am wearing purple though I can't say who I was cheering for.
