Universtiy of Texas vs Oregon State at the Alamo Bowl

We were having a really hard time finding a gift for Nate for Christmas.  Chris came up with the idea to buy tickets to his first UT game.  Chris and Nate drove down to San Antonio to watch UT play in a bowl game.
Considering the cost of the tickets you'd think we could have gotten them closer to the action but they had a good view of the field.
The first half was rough for Texas.  They just couldn't seem to get it together.  Nate was stressed out.
Texas turned it around in the second half and with a surprising victory beat OSU 31-27.  I'm told by Chris that Nate came unglued.  Nate was thrilled!!!

Chris' 41st birthday.  As you can see I had the perfect candles for the occassion except the wicks wouldn't light hence Chris' stupid expression.  I told him to "pretend" he was blowing out the candles.
Red Rider BB gun.  Chris LOVES the movie A Christmas Story.  For Christmas his parents got him a true gun to "shot his eye out" with.

Holiday Fun

We went to Greenwood to look at the Christmas Lights.  For Louisiana we were under a cold snap.  We were all bundled up except Nate who wouldn't wear a cold unless he already had hypothermia.

I love Jackson's hair in this picture.  Nate use to have curls like that.
 Christmas Eve new PJs.
Nate "figuring" out that we got tickets to watch University of Texas play OSU in the Alamo Game
Nathan and his "mini" me.  Jackson was attached at Nathan's hip for most of the trip.  Jackson would say, "where's Nathan" if Nate ever left.

USU vs LA Tech

Carl Malone.  LA Tech alumni.

Awesome seats.  Row 1.

Nate, Kaye, Brianna, Chris, and Ben.  We loved that USU beat LA Tech and had there best season since the 1960s.  This was an unbelievable game.  We had to deal with some nasty Tech fans but we surivived.

Pumpkin carving and chili feed

We had some friends over for food and fun.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  A cool front came through and it was in the 50s.  Yippy!!!  We got the fire pit out and just relaxed and enjoyed.

It's amazing Chris doesn't get smacked more with all the stupid faces he makes.
 Chris, Nate, and Amy Colina
The whole gang.  Poor Jason is the headless horseman I guess.
Nate spent A LOT of time on his pumpkin.  I wish he'd put that much time and effort into his school work.
The carnage.  Good thing we just rolled up the plastic table cloths and threw them away.
Check out all the cool pumpkins.

Revel 15K

Chris ran the Revel 15K.  He's on his way to the 1/2 Marathon in 2.5 weeks.
